SnowSquiddin’: A Huge Success

Squidballing in the snow was easily among the greatest events in Squidball history, in my humble O, and I hope everyone will be into doing it next year again, ESPECIALLY if it’s as snowed-up as it was this year. SQUID SNOWBALL FIGHT! Congratulations to CHIP IT on this, her triumphant return to Squidball after a few seasons off following “The Fracture Heard ‘Round The World.” Oh yeah, plus we slaughtered ‘em; they sucked and we rocked as always. Pictures are no doubt forthcoming (if you’re on Flickr, be sure to add ‘em to the Squids pool, accessible on the right).

Squidball Snowman Tournament MMXI

Meet at FoPa Central Fields #6 (or in the big heated tent that’ll be set up) at 8:00AM, THIS COMING SATURDAY, February 5th, for the Squidball Snowman Tournament. It’s a charity tournament tied in with the whole Mardi Gras Saint Louis deal. We’re guaranteed two games, and depending on how well we do in those, we will advance into some afternoon game playoff-stylings. See the “Team Resources” page for a map of Central Fields.

There are trophies for the tournament, some kinda (possibly video-game-based) home-run derby, and a drinking contest. I have money riding on Z-STROYER for at least the latter two. I’ll bring the SQUIDBONG! and the SQUIDBOX/SQUIDBOT unit, maybe come up with some songs for Squids to jam to. JAM!
