Jungle Juice/Crazy Hat Night

Jungle Juice/Crazy Hat Night 2010 (MMX) was a great success. And yes, we’ve maintained our undefeated streak, even while partying this awesomely.

A Conversation Between The Squids And Josh Levi

These are scans thanks to COOLHAND of a written conversation with Josh Levi on some Thursday night while we were playing Trivia and he was waiterin’ around at Newstead Tower Public House. I don’t remember the date (sometime in the second half of 2009 or first half of 2010, I’m sure) but we could all stand to learn a thing or two about our good buddy Josh.  Click on ‘em to enlarge.

Squids Of The South America

WHAT!?  Here’s STRYKER in the Galápagos Islands, and BEASTOR-X at Machu Picchu in Peru, representing in fine Squid fashion.  BLAM!

Summer Schedules Spreadsheet

Hey Squids!

I’ve made a spreadsheet version of the Summer 2010 schedules. The document has each league on a sheet, and a third sheet that merges the schedules of both leagues. This will complement the calendar application found here on the homepage of Squid-Ball.com. You can find the schedule by going to the Team Resources page, or by visiting this link:

Summer 2010 Schedules

Soon I hope to add links in the Field column to a Google Map coordinate for each field we play on. For now I’ve been making a Google Map of the Squidball fields which is, at the time of this writing, not yet complete. It can be found here:

Squidball Fields Google Map

I also intend to make a VCF for each field so that those of you with iPhones or other devices that can read VCF contact info cards and interact with map applications can easily find a field, even if you’ve never been to it. This should help those of you who still get lost in Forest Park or are intimidated by the super-wide Tower Grove Park.

Squidvia Night II: Flyer

Yo check this wicked flyer that BEASTOR-X made.  Also, register yerself a table already!  As the flyer indicates, PIZZA is included with admission price.  You can make so much money at this event, don’t delay.  Pass the link to this entry and/or the URL for this flyer around!  Print ‘er out and post on the bulletin board at work or the bowling alley or the local watering hole or whatever.

The Luck of the Squids

Fortunate Squids

Bubble King's Fortune Is an Omen for This Season!

Dear Squids,

The other night I enjoyed Chinese food.  At the end of the meal, I cracked open a fortune cookie and found this.  I guess it’s no real surprise, but this seems to be suggesting that as our pre-season practices soonly begin, officially kicking off another Squidball year, all the powers of The Universe are still on our side (duh), and we will once again be undefeated (duh).

Sincerely yours in Squiddom,

I just put together this sweet flow-chart to clear up any confusion that may have remained about the subject at hand.
