The Luncheonette Cup #1
Matthew Pace and LO and their team The Dangerfields have invited the Squids to participate in the first-ever Luncheonette Cup (which was so named by high wizards utilizing time-honored traditions) this coming Sunday, 05/24/09. It’ll be at our usual Heman Park practice area and go from NOON TO FIVE PM. Come on out any time between those two times. If we aren’t in the area bounded by red in the Heman Park image (see the “Team Resources” link above for the map to which I refer), go to one of the fields just south/southwest of there, across the creek. The really nice fields. Don’t let me down Squids, let’s put together a team for this. Let us wail. Truly we shall (first) ink them, and (then) sink them. Make that happen.

That game was awesome! The Squids are by far the best team we’ve ever played. We’ll have to do it again, say 4th of July-ish.
LO is right! Maybe one day we can convince the Dangerfields to jine our league(s). Until then, we will settle (and how!) for holiday-weekend LUNCHEONETTE CUPS. Next time, bring those LUNCHABLES!
