Squidfesten MMIX was a rousing success as anticipated/guaranteed.

Unfortunately no eel was cooked but there is always next year, and there’s always the Asian Farmer’s Market (we can try rabbit, alligator, silkie chicken, duck tongue, and so forth).  A mini-game (7 on 7 or so) between various Squid factions was played wherein the Squids won by a longshot as always/expected.  Also unfortunate was that SQUIDBONG! was only used one time!

Did anyone take pictures?  If not, it’s just another testament to how awesome it was, we didn’t even have time to take pictures cuz we were too busy wailing so hard.  If you missed it, you missed it bigtime, and we were bigtime disappointed that you did so.

Let’s do one last practice before the FoPa season starts: this Saturday, April 11th, at noon.  It’s on the calendar.  I think we should go to Emperor’s Palace in Chesterfield after it’s over, which will facilitate my swinging by Gaffney’s out that way (sorta) so you can get yer Squid jersey then/there.   We can carpool because I should have my car back by then (and with any luck, said car will have an added surprise for you)!

LISTEN UP SQUIDS: I need yer Squidsongs.  I’m not gonna call you out by name (yet); if you’ve failed thus far to express your desired Squidsong (song that plays when you go up to bat) then you know who you are, and you need to contact me now to correct this.
