Squid Games In Review: 10/06/08
Monday night. The lights were bright. The Squids got to squelchin’. The bait? Those Imperfectos bozos. Tentacles met turf. Eyeballs met ink. The Squids in synch. SLUGGER slugged to PRINCE OF PERSIA. BEASTOR-X bested fly balls. DONRUSS wrung out line drives. SQUIDBOX almost lost its life. The challenge was tight. Fight or flight. The Squid’s might? Solid alright. Imperfectos started to sink. But victory was jinxed. The Squids lost (Psych!). But the outcome? Calamari delight.

PANCAKE MASTER’S NOTES: Short, sweet, and plenty of rhyming, but I don’t know where that “The Squids lost” crap came from, Brendan was clearly watching a different game, or maybe drunken, or maybe both. Confusing! Also of note: SWITCHBLADE and PRINCE OF PERSIA got the game balls, and will be re-distributing them after this coming Monday (for real this time)’s game. BUBBLE KING made a Squid appearance after one year in absentia, too.
Yeah he must’ve gotten confused. I stopped counting how many runs we were leading by after it got past 30, and that was just after 1 inning! I hope those guys didn’t feel like we were running the score up on them. We can’t help our Squidness.
