While we’re waiting (waiting waiting waiting waiting) for MONGOOSE to draft up his game review of our final Tuesday games, I’ll post here to relay a few messages:

1) Karen is home now, dividing her time between her house and her parents’ house, and recovering at a mutant-healing-factor rate.  She welcomes and encourages visits (and so do I), and all of the information went out just now in a Squidmail.

2) Thanks to SQUIDS (Brendan) and SWITCHBLADE and especially SCHRAPPEN (who, mind you, is not even playing any more Squidball this season, TAKE A LESSON!) for rocking Squidpractice, batting cage time, and (in the case of Brendan and ‘Blade) Happy Joe’s.

3) I went to a SharkGun game yesterday and it was tight, you guys should go next time.  However, for just the second time in history, a team (the team SharkGun was playing against) was so weak that they couldn’t handle the power of the Squidbox.  What is the deal with teams that are too weak to rock even a little bit?  (At first the opposing team were like “that’s tight, keep it playing” and later, when they lost the game and realized the music was only for SharkGun, they changed their tune.  I detect POOR SPORTSMANSHIP!)  Squidhorn was definitely busted out multiple times, though.

4) If you aren’t playing already, come be a Squidfan tonight at 6:30PM at Forest Park, and/or get to Harry’s (on Southwest just west of Kingshighway) by 8:00PM and start up a Squids Trivia team for us, cuz we don’t finish with Squidball ’til 8:30PM or so, at which point we’ll be migrating to Harry’s.
