SQUIDS’ turf

Charles told me about an NES game called River City Ransom. One of the street gangs in the game is called “The Squids”.

Downtown: OH NO! You’re on THE SQUIDS turf!

That’s pretty impressive how forest is nestled right next to a building spanning a street. Trying to think of a place like that in St. Louis and coming up short.

    Hah hah nice screenshot. This video game has been well within the Squid consciousness for a goodly 10+ years. Awesome sleuthing though.

    YOU ARE ON THE SQUIDS’ TURF, BABY! Maybe we need to implement brass knuckles on the field?
