DANG DUDES, we got rained out AGAIN. This means that our Tower Grove league has now had more rainouts than actual games (3 versus 2), and furthermore that it has had more rainouts in the first five weeks than we had all season long last year (3 so far versus 2 total last year). WEIRD! Too bad we got rained out last week cuz Founding Father Squid BUBBLE KING was going to make an appearance! He did fill in bowling for the Squids bowling team the following night, though.

Yesterday at FoPa we were high and dry and played our games. Wicked Squidding done by all present of course. T-BIZZLE had a few amazing grabs in the outfield. As the umpire noted, they always looked like they were gonna get away, or be dropped, but Tom held on and ruled the day. Game balls went to SOUTHSIDESARA who was guesting at 3rd base for some solid pop-up catches and CASSIDY for snagging a few line drives before they had the chance to hit the dirt. Nice work all around Squids! Someday we’ll play at ToGro again. SOMEDAY! There will be Jell-O shots, and it shall be a day of utmost glory.
