I know you Squids are all as disappointed as I am about our DOUBLE-rainout this week.  I’d like to take this opportunity to address the topic of RainOuts!

I will make every effort to update the Squid-Ball.com calendar to reflect a canceled game.  If you look to the right, you’ll see that yesterday and the day before are both colored red.  This means that a cancellation has occurred.  If you’re like Coolhand Ann apparently was yesterday, you can rock on over to Squid-Ball.com to find out if the game was canceled in this way.

The classic protocol, though, is this: I will find out as soon as I can whether a game is canceled.  I will, at that point, blast out some Squidspam about the cancellation, soliciting you dudes to write me back and let me know you’ve received the note.  Anyone that doesn’t respond will receive a call as soon as I can make one.  Please let me know (via E-Mail or phone) as soon as you are aware that there’s no game–it saves time and effort a-plenty on my part!

You Squids are, understandably, hungry to get back to dominating.  Monday’s Forest Park (FoPa) games will be made up at the end of the season.  Tuesday’s Tower Grove (ToGro) games will not.  I’ll see you on the fields next week.  Stay tuned here for an important message about next week’s Tuesday game from the Squids’ own Sub A Dub.
